i remember pale sharks in third chapter, bat-Foes which grab you from the ceiling in the last chapter, but dolphin shadows? which level is this actually? i asked some people, they're saying it could be just a random glitch. however, if it's a fridge horror, it can be just so unnoticeable, that no one really pays attention to it.
