I realize this is YMMV trope...but talking about all the implications of the world inside of the Framework just gets a little silly. Like the possibility that Steve Rogers is dead there. This is all a computer simulation. The outcome of the Chitauri invasion? There might never have been one. Aida claims that it's all the algorithms carrying that world to its natural conclusion, but she's clearly full of shit. She made that world entirely to her liking, and immediately contradicts herself by offering to bring Lincoln back to life.

Again, it's all pointless. Lincoln's dead in that world? No, Lincoln's dead in the real world. No Lincoln ever existed in that world because only a handful of people in that world are real.
