I removed the example for Continuity Snarl because it didn't really seem like a real example. The lore of the series explained why the Elder Dragons destroyed the old civilization, and why certain ones (the Fatalis trio) hate all humans. However, it's doubtful most of the elder dragons alive in World lived that long ago and some of them will still attack even if unprovoked like Nergigante. The more recent updates have also shown that a few of them aren't even there to die. Lunastra and Teostra are there to mate. It doesn't contradict existing lore and doesn't mess with continuity, which the games themselves don't really have much of anyway.

The main text of the Trope page for Acquired Poison Immunity (would link it I weren't on a tablet) is about doing it intentionally and over a long period of time. While pretty close, I wonder if one or both pages should be modified to be more precise/explicit about the variation present here where it happens over the course of the battle and not involving any concious decision on the part of th monster? Note that if the Acquired Poison Immunity page has an entry for Monster Hunter I did not read it.
