Should I use the official Crunchyroll translation in naming some of Kukuri's spells, like "Mewling Cat" instead of "Long-winded Meow"?

I would say yes unless there's a specific reason to do otherwise. General rule in these situations is "most recent translation wins"

I had a similar situation come up on Komi-san wa Komyushou desu
and my answer here is the same as there.
I vote leave it as is because that's what he's referred to in series by nearly everybody. Calling him by a name almost nobody uses strikes me as counter-productive and likely to make things needlessly confusing to a casual reader/viewer.
That's, of course, assuming nothing changes about how he's spoken of in the show, but given even the manga spinoff is titled with Kita-Kita / North-North, I'm betting not.

I feel that this page needs to be filled with more entries, especially a character page for the characters, both for the 90's version and the 2017 version.
