I would also like to point out that the Trauma Conga Line isn't just for Gryffindors—Severus Snape is the perfect example of the Sour Knight. I can't think of anything good that happens to him in the entire series. Everyone, including Regulus Black and Lucius Malfoy, have at least some friends and family. But Snape has to work for the side that hates his guts (and he ends up making his final sacrifice for the side that just tried to kill him before Voldemort finished him off).
But I guess since he has greasy hair and he dared to yell at Harry, that he deserves it. Oh, yeah, and Slytherin, too.
"young-uns"? How old is this author, 85? It comes off as pretentious and utterly out of date.
