The name of the style is "boiling line" or "shimmering line". Line boil is the tendency of lines to wiggle around in hand-drawn animation. "Squigglevision" is a computer process that uses line boil to make the characters look lively and cut down on animation costs. Not all animation that uses line boil is made in Squigglevision; the vast majority is simply hand-drawn animation. Perhaps the trope needs to be renamed to "line boil" or "boiling line."
