Can this overlap with "Monster Roommate" in any way? Like someone keeping a Lilliputian character as a pet?

"His logic is that pets get free food, protection from predators and the affection of their masters, in exchange for a relatively minor amount of work." That's the same logic I used for gnomes and fairies willingly becoming pets to humans, despite being sapient. I mean heck, I'd probably do the same thing. Like if I ended up on an inhospitable planet with giant inhabitants who saw me as an adorable critter.

Where do the frog-dogs from Star Wars fit into this? Because they're sapient, but act like dumb animals so people will adopt them as pets. Enabling them to exploit them for food and shelter.
