In the "Monster High" webisode "Fur Will Fly," Clawdeen Wolf says a version of this to Heath Burns after he makes a sexist comment:

And she gets challenged to a race, then trumps Heath by using the full moon to gain super speed, which she uses to smoke the track AND his ego.
