Pages launched from the TLP are supposed to show the link to the TLP draft, but due to a glitch the links sometimes disappear.
So I do some digging (usually by going into the page history and checking the TLP history of the person who launched it) and post the link when it vanishes for archival purposes.
Edited by themayorofsimpleton TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallI was in the middle of adding two new examples to the Real Life section and somehow the entire page disappeared. I was able to get it back, but now it’s not linking to the subpages. I don’t know what I did.
The Real-Life folder has gotten so long that I'm thinking about creating a page just for that section. I hope that's okay.
"At least 10 years between the youngest and oldest sibling"? Why can't it be 13 years? That's well after childhood. Just wondering.
Edited by NDEngleson Hide / Show RepliesTen years sounds reasonable to me. After all, if you're twenty and have a ten year old sibling, they would probably feel more like your child than a sibling.
Yeah but if you were 20 and your sibling was 11, I’m sure you’d feel the same way anyway. I still think 12 or 13 is pretty late in life for that to happen; I mean that’s when puberty usually begins and you’re already out of elementary school by that point.
Edited by NDEnglesonJust a reminder: the Real Life section of this trope will probably need to get its own page soon.
Do cousins count? For example, I have two cousins ten years older than me.
Edited by IukaSylvie Hide / Show RepliesI don't think much older cousins count on this page, but I can relate to your situation. Some of my older cousins are only a few years younger then my dad. One of them even has a daughter a year older then me. Though, she was just a teenager when that happened, and got herself trapped in a shotgun marriage situation that didn't work out.
