Polykilling is possible in Borderlands but not in the traditional sense. When using an elemental weapon it is possible to ignite or corrode multiple enemies at once. For example, the Maliwan Volcano sniper rifle has splash damage, shoot at the ground between two enemies close to each other and they'll both burn to death.
I'm not sure this counts, but there's an episode of My Name Is Earl where John Amos is talking about another guy: "I've seen him kill three guys with one bullet, no gun. Just sort of...pushed it through their foreheads."
