Is this about the rhyme, or just "there's a magpie"? Some of these examples don't explain what relation if any they have to the stereotypes about magpies.

I've suggested a YKTTW for Thieving Magpie for that particular stereotype.

Hi John:

I don't know if we need the separate trope you've suggested. Why don't we just change the name of this trope, ie, change OFSTFJ? In fact, in the YKTTW for Thieving Magpie as a separate trope that you refer to, others have suggested changing OFSTFJ to "Rooks and Magpies." I'd like to move this name change discussion to TRS, but it's full. As soon as I see there's an opening, I'll do that.

Thanks, Sci Fi Ms

OK, tonight I was able to move the name change discussion to TRS [1].

FYI, I've changed my mind—I think these are two separate tropes. The name change discussion for "One for Sorrow, Two for Joy," which should refer to the association between magpies and predicting the future, is still in TRS; and "Thieving Magpie" has been restored to YKTTW.
