  • The titular character of Spawn provides a variation on this. He is capable of feeding off of the sins of people to provide power for him; thus, the more evil an individual he is fighting, the more power he has. (This was the explanation provided in ScrewAttack's DEATH BATTLE! as to how he was able to defeat and kill Kratos.)

I find the wording of this unclear: is it explained in the original comic that this is how his power works, or only in the web animation?

If the former, the sentence about the web animation is natter, and should be removed. If the latter, the example should be moved to the web video folder and rewritten to be clearer.

The commentators in the Screw Attack video for the DEATH BATTLE! stated that is an ability Al Simmons (AKA Spawn) has in the comics. Sadly, I don't recall them stating any specific chapters and/or issues when that is mentioned and as someone who does not collect Spawn comics, I'm not going to have any access to any first knowledge of this ability.
