- My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic has an example worth bonus points as it literally involves falling. Spike and Rarity are both falling to what they think will be their death and Spike tries to admit that he loves her, but Rarity tears up happily and shushes him.
This trope involves a couple falling onto one another, not falling side-by-side through the air. Not An Example.
Does this trope apply when only one of the characters is having a Literally Falling in Love moment? For example, Bob loves Alice, but she does not (yet), and then he confesses his feelings for her and then she falls in love with him, showing her sparkling eyes reflecting his image.
