While I'm glad there's an elephant trope, some people seem to be using this as any instance of elephants in fiction. I thought this wasn't to be "People sitting in Chairs". Simply having an elephant doesn't make it an honorable elephant. (Example: the elephants in the Lion King play no significant role other than the "Elephant Graveyard", and even that's more metaphorical). This is about the portrayal of elephants and mammoths, not simply appearing.
