yet First Period Panic, which is nearly the female version of this trope
No... Potty Emergency is the female version of the trope. There's no double standard there.
while the mere mention of getting a period is usually frowned upon by censors Is kinda more telling about the weird societal goal of making women ashamed of their bodies that is pretty problematic.
And this has been a lot less fetishized than Potty Emergency. Which has been pretty problematic in terms of No Lewdness No Prudishness

Okay, I have a fairly major concern regarding this trope and another. Apparently, video examples relevant to Potty Failure are prohibited on this site for being "too NSFW"... yet First Period Panic, which is nearly the female version of this trope and involves one's VAGINA, is stuffed to the gills with video examples. I'm confused. Hundreds of children's titles use Potty Emergency as a trope, while the mere mention of getting a period is usually frowned upon by censors. Maybe somebody can tell me exactly what's going on? I'm starting to get rather nervous.
