The trope is final speeches. Seems to me this this not a final speech — they live. The stuff around them coming back is natter and incorrectly formatted in any case — a double star is not a paragraph break.

  • Dragon Ball Z: When Vegeta is shot by Freeza's death beam, he warns Son Goku to put aside his softness and defeat Freeza before he dies. Yes, he's later revived by the Dragon Balls, but he has no idea at the time the Earth balls were restored by Piccolo's resurrection. For the moment, he's assumed he's Killed Off for Real.
    • Not to mention he has no reason to assume that the Z Fighters would bother to resurrect Vegeta at this point in his life, where he's still considered pretty evil.
