Sorry to say, but Kim makes it pretty clear that they are NOT a woman throughout the novel.
Unless something comes up later, like a reveal that no, they totally aren't nonbinary, they're just running form their past (which would be hard to pull of anyways) they really shouldn't be referred to as such.
So, I'll try to get to changing that, if anyone has any objections, please give your reasoning.
