  • Meaningful Name: His stance in the Tekkit series (Anti-technology, High Alchemy), his avatar, Blackrock Castle...all lend very appropriately to his last name.

His surname means beach or coast. It has nothing to do with the afterlife or raining hellfire or anything like that. I'm not a Swedish speaker I don't even think the "hell" part of Rythian's surname has a specific meaning. Also, I don't recall any Minecraft video even saying the name "Hellstrand" in any context. He's just Rythian.
