It's true. I've seen a great match he had there with the Great Muta in 1993. Hulk takes it to the mat like a big, balding, orange Dean Malenko with no irony. He does some of his usual Hulk stuff, of course, but it's mostly a 180 from his usual kind of match.

This applies to Hogan in Japan in an interesting way, his Wrestling style was entirely different during his Career there, so that he has more actually respect there then in America where he's typical considered all Hype.
