Fist of the North Star was created as a hodge-podge of Violence Jack, Mad Max and Bruce Lee films. Like the first and second, it takes place in a violent post-apocalyptic world where the strong butcher the weak. However, its hero is a Messianic Archetype that uses martial arts to save the day.
For the edit reason: "I didn't know about Violence Jack; I think Kenshiro being a Messianic Archetype isn't that much of the twist for this kind of stories, although it could be because the other's simply cpied it."
This edit reason completely loses track of what the trope is about: for some reason, fishysaur is tunnel-visioning on Kenshiro's personality, but this trope is about works with premises that are instantly recognizable on sight, except for one or two things that are unique to it. As stated in the description, "X Meets Y" is one of the ways to accomplish this, such as FOTNS being a combination of Mad Max, Violence Jack and Bruce Lee films.
Remember, the entire point to the trope is that the work in question is like other works except with a unique twist. If the work copied other things to produce a unique gimmick, that is EXACTLY what this trope is.
