For Want of a Nail: The plot could've been very different if Brains hadn't stuttered trying to pronounce the word "missile" as what hit Thunderbird 5, which is instead assumed to be a meteor.

uh, no, not at all. Brains says "Thunderbird five, major damage sustained. Possible strike by an as as as...me..me..me" so he wasn't trying to pronounce meteor, he was originally trying to pronounce asteroid and then meteor.
