You know, she did let him into her house. One of the things that I remember is that they were actually friends from before, though Gomez apparently wanted something more from Liliana.
Whether they had an affair, I don't know. I got the impression that Liliana somehow emasculated him like Hastings later does and he went ballistic on her. I think he raped and killed her because she rejected him and did not reciprocate his feelings for her and did not fit the mental image he had of her.

But including cheat related troops when there's no any explicit implication (just some speculation from Irene) isn't enough to include them as legit troops seen in this movie. Even if she opened the door to Gomez that doesn't mean anything.
Regarding if Liliana cheated or not to Ricardo.
I recently watched the film and it is implied by Hastings in order to get a reaction from Gomez, however in the page it appears as she did in fact cheated, therefore the rape started as consensual and later... well, it ended bad.
