True story: I remember listening to a recording of an interview, a long time ago, of Basil Rathbone, who played Gisbourne. In the interview, he let slip a few behind-the-scenes details of his famous swordfight with Errol. Basil Rathbone, you see, was at the time supposedly counted amongst the best swordsmen in the world, if not the very best, and admitted fencing as his favourite pastime. He of course had to lose to Errol's Robin Hood, but (I speculate) to save his pride, admitted in the interview that during filming he showed Errol precisely how easily he could beat him any time he wanted, and gave Errol a very, very hard time during the fight.
Might, if others may be able to confirm this, this count as something 'listworthy' on the main page?
