Someone made an edit on the character page removing some links to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, on the grounds that since they haven't actually crossed over they shouldn't be considered an AU to each other. I disagree since the first Venom films specifically said “Meanwhile, in another universe…” before showing the clip for Spider-Verse. If it had simply shown the clip I would have treated it as a trailer, but since it didn't I think we should treat it as canon that the SSU and Spider-Verse films are AU to each other. Plus since Let There Be Carnage and Morbius also featured the multiverse I imagine Sony treats them that way themselves. If people agree or disagree please say so, because if the majority of people disagree we should make edits to anything related to Spider-Verse but if people agree with me then I can undo those edits that troper made.
