Looks like the fictional "hades" bomb system was based on a possible real version of the Hunting JP-233 system - which was rated for Tornados, but probably not for F-16s.

Here's a munition that refers to the "Hades" system - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HB_876_mine

hades seems to refer to a dispenser of some kind... they could have just extrapolated if it was filled with incendiary or FAE..

While cleaning up this entry, I find myself in the position of being completely ignorant about Iron Eagle 3 and 4. Would someone who actually watched them please fill in the gaps?
