Here is my Mario fanfic recommendation:

Super Mario Sunshine: A Sprite of Light by mariobroultimate

• Synopsis: To get away from the wintery Mushroom Kingdom, the Mario Bros, along with Peach, and some new friends go on vacation to the sun-drenched tropical paradise of Isle Delfino. Their peace is shattered when a new group of villains come to wreck havoc on the Isle. So much for a vacation. Can Mario, his friends, and their new water pack FLUDD save the day?
• Comments: This is more than just a simple adaptation of Super Mario Sunshine. Its plotline is driven and well put together. There’s also a lot more action than you can imagine. What do you all think of this recommendation?

I would like to make a reccomendation, well 4 reccomendations which are all related. Oh yeah, and how do you sign reccomendations or make links? Since I don't know how, you're just going have to search it on Fanfiction.net or Google. Sorry.

• Paper Mario X by Child At Heart Forever
• Sypnosis: Paper Mario novelization with a twist: the X stands for crossover! When dark times come across the lands, and there's no use wishing on a star…sometimes the best thing to do is simply get Mario to fix it for you. But when he finds his story is intertwined with other heroes, Mario might not have to do it alone...and maybe even make new friends!
• Comments: This story is really well written with some humor. It has good character development and the interactions are very funny. What do you think?
• Paper Mario X 2 The Thousand Year Door by Child at Heart Forever
• Sypnosis: When Peach invites the gang for a vacation in Rogueport, it quickly goes bad with the kidnapping of ZAP, an evil plot working in the shadows, and the separation of the team! With only Link to assist him, Mario sets out to save the girls, get his friends back together, and set things right!
• Comments: Just as good as the first one but better. Enough said.
• Paper Luigi X by Child At Heart Forever
• Sypnosis: Have you ever experienced a time when no matter how hard you tried, you failed, and the time you spent felt wasted? If ever you feel such pangs of regret, try to remember this tale... the story of a young man's quest to be just like his brother...
• Comments: A really great spin-off starring Luigi, his friends, and his partners. This is an excellently written story of what happerned while Luigi was on his adventures.
• Super Paper Mario X by Child at Heart Forever
• Sypnosis: It's been six months since Teams Mario, ZAP, Luigi, and BEG have seen each other, but the threat of the worlds being sucked into The Void by a gang of teleporting foes just may be enough to bring them back together...even if it all was unintentional.
• Comments: The best one yet. It has everything from the first story to the spin-off and combines it into one amazingly wel written story.

Another one based on Paper Mario: Sticker Star is coming after it releases.

Alright, I'll make a recommendation here. So let's see...

Princess Power! by Boo Destroyer

• Recommended by Shadow Man 2
• Synopsis: A game idea that revolves around Peach, Daisy, and Rosalina finding themselves in their own adventure against a strange new enemy. This time, with the help of E. Gadd, they've got a new kind of power to strike back.
• Comments: An interesting take on Peach Daisy and Rosalina, and very well thought out of a game idea. Give it a good read through and you'll end up wanting it to be an actual game!

This is a game idea that takes Peach and the other two princesses and puts them in their own adventure and in a new light. From what I read, it has a lot of thought and effort put into it. The idea of them paying homage to those transforming heroines in anime is a fun one. This could be loads better than Super Princess Peach (which wasn't that great anyway).

But what do you all make of it?

Damn, I know there can't be all terrible Mario/Peach fics out there. Yes, it's overdone, but there are diamonds in the rough. Hell, for some reason, we do have a Bowser/Peach fic in there which leaves Mario with the shaft....poor guy.

I want to make a recommendation for a fic but unfortunately I don't know if my name would hold much weight around here; I figured maybe someone can back it up.

• Synopsis: A Shy Guy and a Birdo embark on a journey to enslave all the Yoshi in the world.
• Comments:

This is a pretty twisted and dark work that is reminiscent of Chuck Palahniuk's writing. It takes a lot of obscure details from the video games and strings them together into a bizarre plot. I think it's written pretty well. What do you guys think? Worth noting?
