Hello! I thought that it might be a good idea to start this discussion up, seeing the History for this page over the last day. If you would like to continue your debate, please feel free to use this discussion to do so! I look forward to seeing your points of view. Though, if I may say, Cornholio 4, this is making me remember the Discussion I opened up for The Karma of Lies- you know, the fanfic that had Adrien basically ruin his life at the age of fifteen because not only is he "just as culpable as Lila," but apparently he's so much stupider than her that she had no trouble leaving him the bag for everything? If I recall correctly, you were a big fan of that fic! Anyway, I started up that Discussion to ask whether it would be worth adding YMMV entries for Marinette, debating whether it was really sympathetic of her to let Lila go on her merry way because she no longer cared about her victims. Literary Cynic advised me, in essence, not to bother, because the entire premise of the fic was that Adrien and the class had all that karma coming. So, just keep that in mind while editing this page. The original cartoon didn't exactly do any of the heroes any favors- sure, Marinette gets called out more often, but she also has a much happier home life, gets the win in most episodes, and definitely has the lion's share of the authority and information in regards to heroics. Everyone in the show makes mistakes, and different fanfic authors decide to respond to some and ignore others. It can be a polarizing fandom, but I'm happy to debate with you anytime!
