While there have been quite a number of ships going on since the series started, in The Flash (2014) one of the earliest ships was Barry/Caitlin. While on the surface it seems unusual due to the latter character's known role as a villain in the comics, the television series' alternate approach to her has made the pairing pretty popular. It doesn't help that the fans have noticed the two characters tend to be wearing the same colors in scenes together, react the same way, and make the same gestures and body movements at the same time. Though considering the comic's canonical relationship with Iris, it remains to be seen if this will truly lead anywhere, though the pairing still remains quite strong.
I'm not knocking the example, but are those really the best examples of Ship Tease? The characters all tend to wear dark colours, so it isn't Ship Tease since the vast majority of the characters on the show wear dark colours. And I can't think of a single instance where the characters 'react in the same way' that wasn't something like them both looking at a new character or thing that's walked into the room. We're also discussing this on the main page for The Flash.
