Late reply is late.
I don't know why all of those buttons are missing from the main page, but alter the URL approriately and you'll find the pages. Still, if someone who knows what we can do to fix this could help uot, I'd be eternally grateful.
Maybe someone should ask on the forums. My computer logs me out of TV Tropes after visiting one page, so I can't do so until I figure out how to fix this, unfortunately.
