If you've actually played God mode, it's actually easier than Ultra. Still not beginner-friendly by any sense of the word, but it removes some elements of Ultra (i.e. the rocks spitting suicide bullets on stage 1) and it has more slowdown; also, the extends are easier to get if you know how to optimize your score. It's for this reason I play God mode once in a while but won't touch Ultra ever.

Do any of you Cave fans think we need pages for Steep Slope Sliders and Puzzle Uo Poko? Haven't played Steep Slode Sliders myself, and Puzzle Uo Poko was just Puzzle Bobble upside-down.
