Where to begin? As it stands, current recap of the series finale is quite misleading. While it's technically true that the Pre-Crisis DC Multiverse is rescued and restored, it only lasts one fifteenth of a microsecond before it "evolves" (to use the book's term) into the Grant Morrison Multiversity Multiverse, all of the classic characters getting reformatted and overwritten by the Morrison version. So every paragraph about how the Pre-Crisis Multiverse is "back" and how "we might visit the pre-Flashpoint versions again isn't really what happened. It was "saved" but also severely altered.
