I know this is the habitual translation online, but I suspect it's one started by a Czech who didn't fully understand the actual English usage of the word "rapid".
It's not connected to the speed of a PHYSICAL THING. At. All.
And I fear sticking to incorrect translations like this makes us look like the backwards Estern European country bumpkins we hate to viewed as. So can we PLEASE finally change it to "fast", at least here?
