I didn't hate this. It has a lot of flaws (psycho Ray Palmer? WTF to name one), but it wasn't that bad. Besides, even if I actually gave a crap about Lian (I didn't previously, she was just around to be cute IMO), I wouldn't have gone as overboard as others did. I felt sorry that she died and Roy suffered so much tragedy... but that's it. I never lost any sleep over it.
What does this have to do with anything? Not much; I just wanted to show that at least one person doesn't think this is the anti-christ of comics. Hell, with Robinson's newer JLA stuff, some of the more questionable things in CFJ have been kinda vindicated. Do I love CFJ? No. Do I hate, nay, LOATHE it? Hell, no! I like it as much as something that I can but doesn't love, and doesn't really piss me off.
Sometimes life just sucks. You have to learn to take the good with the bad. Why should you expect anything different in the mediums?
