I know every time I say something like this, it turns out that actually, the writers specifically stated this was their intent in an interview somewhere, but the Blur being more of a Take That! than the other characters seems weird to me. Firstly, because if you want to make one member of your Corrupted Character Copy team a specfic criticism of the bad actions taken by the original, you maybe shouldn't make him the least terrible member of the team. Secondly, because if you're using your character's actions to say that roughly analogous actions by the original are unforgivable, your equivalent action probably shouldn't be something your flagship character actually did.
