Creating a Work Page for an Upcoming Work directly states that we are only troping things that purport to represent the work itself (their emphasis), and troping advertising solely as advertising.
Press releases are specifically counted as advertising, and we cannot take press releases (or associated Word of God) as sole source for a pre-release trope.
At the moment, everything on this page seems to meet that standard and doesn't seem to need changes - examples are based on promotional artwork and prequels rather than purely from press releases.
