So we should probably move him then. Who do you think could replace him on this page (most likely Bastion (who despite being Demoted to Extra was part of the main group in the first two seasons) or Crowler)?

I could see a case for either or both, actually. As you say, Bastion is part of the core cast despite being Demoted to Extra, and Crowler is a prominent character throughout the show's run, has significant Character Development, and plays a major role in many storylines from the first episode.

Made the changes. Put Bastion up since Crowler was never a part of the cast shots in openings.

Does Jesse really count as a main character? He only has a major role in the first half of Season 3 and a few episodes of Season 4. Several other characters not on this page have more screen time than him.
