Not the one who deleted it so I can't tell you what the actual reason was, but apparently (according to Google) licking the tip of a pencil was just as common as licking the tip of a pen back in the day (the same reason of helping it write better), so it might be that they judged this wasn't intentional foreshadowing?

I'd previously written an entry under Raiten Menimemo (I think it was Foreshadowing) pointing out that he licks the tips of his pencils, and stating that that is a clue that he usually uses a pen. I can't find it now, so it must've been deleted, but it looks like the page has since been migrated. Does anyone know why it was deleted? I don't want to edit war, but I would like to know the reasoning.
