With the release of the first book in the new trilogy, plus the overlap in all the standalones, I think cutting all the standalone novel character pages is in order, and consolidating all characters into geographical categories.
Sarcasmosuchus' classification works, but I'd add The Old Empire.
I will begin the process of consolidation in a Word file but hold off until we get some input.
Considering that quite a few characters play important roles in multiple books throughout the series, I think would make sense to sort the characters according to geographical region and/or political affiliation rather than the books they appear in. Based on the look of this page, it seems like someone already had the same idea, but there's still way too much redundancy – Cosca, for example, has entries on three different subpages, which, in my opinion, is just unnecessary and confusing for anyone not familiar with the series.
My suggestion for a new page design would look somewhat like this:
Does this make sense to you? And would anyone else be interested in expanding the character pages? As a fan of the series, it always pains me to see how short most of the entries are.
