First, I am aware that the altered timeline is more complex and detailed than a simple "Axis won." Is J. Edgar Hoover still in charge of the FBI? If so, I would like to put a Kick The Son Of A Bitch entry under Gus Hall, clarifying that he is not wrong that the FBI and CIA are full of reactionary, anti-civil rights elements, just that doing what he's doing is strategically unwise and not necessarily the result of pure motives.
Second, I would like to clarify that I don't consider Hall "wholesome." He's an ideologue and a fanatic within the context of the game, and in history was a survivor and a "tankie" rather than a person who supported good policies. I was trying to indicate that, rather than fellow idealistic fanatic Yockey, he believes in defensible things, like equality for all people, and that unlike Yockey he wants to preserve the American society he's destroying. To that end, I was hoping to put in an entry under The Idealist, but slanted negatively, focusing on how his obsession with ideologically pure actions blinds him to the political realities that make them unwise. But, well... I'm bad at this game and can't exactly check in person yet, so I wanted to see if that's a correct read.
