Can we put the tropes for Original Series characters on the character page for that show.

SNW isn't an alternate continuity so they're the same characters and Pike has his tropes split across the character pages for three Trek shows which is a bit stupid.

It'd feel dumb to put Pike and M'Benga's tropes on TOS when they were barely in either of those shows (And M'Benga was basically just named extra) while the majority of their screentime (and therefore characterization and therefore tropes) is from SNW.

It'd be equally weird to have their TOS page filled with tropes from a show that aired almost 60 years later...

I do think some entries as superfluous like the Scotty offscreen cameo getting his own character entry. Like, it's literally just a one line joke for one episode. Scotty has a page, put him there.

If we're merging everything, then it should all be either in separate character pages (if they meet the size requirement) or in SNW since that's the show where the bulk of the tropes will come from.

I'd say moving Pike's TOS stuff here would make more sense. I just don't see the point in having Uhura's tropes on two different pages because she's the same character.

I feel like the comparison between TOS Chapel and SNW Chapel is maybe a little unfair on Classic Christine? Yes, she didn't get much to do, and was often written as the Quivering Female defined entirely by her hopeless love for Spock, but when she did get more of a role, she could be spirited and sarcastic ("You think I could love a machine?" "Did you?"), and SNW Chapel's advanced medical knowledge is surely just foreshadowing that she's going to be a doctor by the time of The Motion Picture. Ultimately, she's a Flat Character because she hardly appears, and now we're getting to see more of her.

I'd still say it counts? SNW Chapel is definitely edgier than her TOS self. She's also more proactive. And like, I get what you mean, that maybe TOS Chapel was like that and we never got to see it because she barely showed up... but that's the point. We never got to see her like that on TOS. This doesn't mean they can't be the same character or that there's no way to reconcile both takes, but it doesn't change that SNW Chapel, as presented, behaves relatively differently from TOS Chapel.

Why is Future Crippled Pike listed as a separate character?

Putting aside that it's basically TOS Pike so he's already covered by that page, he's rarely ever seen as anything more than visions and only in like two episodes.
