Do the Blackbeard Pirates deserve their own page? They have hardly done anything yet.

But the page is still too small. They can be merged with another page without any problem.

Why? If the page it was split from got too long, then the split needs to be done along sensible lines. In the case of Character pages, you always split along Character groups.

Nope the page is too short. It can be merged with the Red Hair Pirates and Beast Pirates and maybe the White beard Pirates without being as long as the Warlords page with isn't split up by the way.

And it would look nice.

Hey, I'm wondering, aside of the example in the general folder, do the Character-specific Evil Counterpart examples apply? They're all based off speculation but, since the straw hats haven't interacted much with the Blackbeard pirates, they could be wrong (I mean, I don't doubt Shiryu is Zoro's counterpart, but the story never put the two together yet)

Maybe is better to remove them and (re)add when the parallels are confirmed

The trope page doesn't make much mention of an evil counterpart having to interact with their good counterpart for the trope to apply, just that they have similarities as characters. Given how many parallels between the Blackbeard Pirates and the Straw Hats exist already even without any interactions, I see there being a reason to keep these examples for now.

I know it applies as a whole, I was talking about single characters, since some entries are written with "it seems he's setup as a foil to x", which makes the entry debatable

But fair enough, I won't touch them
