Which Big Boss is in Metal Gear 1 and which is in Metal gear 2?

Summary: While most of the evidence points toward Venom being the one you face in Metal Gear 1, the fact that the Big Boss you face in 2 is a cyborg, and in Metal Gear Solid 4 he mentions having missing body parts, indicate that it is the real Big Boss you face in 1 while its Venom Snake you face in 2.

Okay, I know that most assume it is Venom Snake you face in Metal Gear 1, while its the real Big Boss you face in Metal gear 2. This is due to Venom Snake having built Outer Haven from the Diamond Dogs, while Big Boss was presumably working on Zanzibar Land. It is also Venom Snake who is shown with a briefing tape for Operation Intrude n313 (the operation plan for the events of Metal Gear 1) and standing in Outer Haven while listening to it.

However, "Big Boss"'s own words in Metal Gear 2 and the real Big Boss's statements in Metal gear Solid 4 called this into question for me.

In Metal Gear 2 he directly states that he is a cyborg. Venom Snake was a cyborg (his arm), while Big Boss was not. Why he said that he became a cyborg due to injuries sustained in Metal Gear 1, I hypothesize, was to maintain the secret that there had actually been two "Big Bosses" to continue to throw off the Patriots.

In Metal Gear Solid 4, Big Boss states that EVA had used parts from Liquid and Solidus to "replace the missing pieces" of his body. Note the term "missing" not "damaged" or "burned". In Metal Gear 2, Solid Snake uses an improvised flamethrower to take down "Big Boss". But in Metal Gear 1, Solid Snake manages to hit him with a RPG round. While that sounds like it should have been an insta-kill, remember, this is Big Boss. The guy had an A.I. weapon land on him and he just threw it off without injury. Being burned wouldnt have removed pieces from him, but getting hit with an RPG would have blow off parts of him.

Also, Solidus was just a skinless torso at that point, but was fooling the Patriots. If Big Boss had just been burnt, he would have still had his limbs, thus Solidus's torso would have less likely to have fooled the system.

Thus I propose that it is actually the real Big Boss you face in Metal Gear 1, while it is Venom Snake you face in Metal Gear 2. With each having swapped places (again) just prior to the start of the Operation.
