Troper kidatheart added the Tomboy with a Girly Streak back in November 2021. I removed it as Giulia didn't really demonstrate the "girly" streak the definition required and provided an explanation in the edit reason. The troper has added it back with virtually the same wording.

To prevent this from becoming more of an Edit War, I've opened this for discussion.

Giulia's definitely a tomboy but she really doesn't show a "girly" streak and the examples given here don't match what's actually shown in the movie.

First off, she never wears "dresses". Only once do we see her in something other than her jeans and t-shirt and that's at the train station where she's wearing a shirt and a plain, non-frilly skirt. This outfit is very similar to the school outfit we see her wearing in the end credits. Because of the brief appearance, it's hard to tell if this is something she likes to wear or that it's travel clothes that she is "expected" to wear.

Second, her room is filled with books and records, but there's only one stuffed Donald Duck toy that's not even a plushie just a fabric doll. Even then it's sitting on the floor and is serving more as a Disney easter egg and the fact that Donald Duck is more popular in Europe than America. In short, stuffed animals are not a major fixture in her room.

Giulia's a tomboy but "girly" is just not a prominent aspect of her personality. The Tomboy with a Girly Streak should be revised down to just Tomboy.
