How do we want to deal with Dragona's pronouns? While the English translation uses he/him, they're ultimately fan-translations and shouldn't be taken as canonical confirmation. I suggest using they/them at the moment untill more information is available.

For what it's worth, the JoJo wiki recently switched to using male pronouns for Dragona.

"Dragona is stated as "older brother" (兄) in the volume introduction page, magazine introduction page, the JoJo-Portal website, and JOJO magazine 2023 WINTER."

"I figured I'd mention this here, but the character introduction page recently included in Volume 2 states that Dragona is Jodio's "older brother." Since this isn't just coming from Jodio's mouth anymore, we're treating this as an official confirmation of Dragona's gender, and as a result, we've also updated the pronouns used in the article to reflect this change.

As for whether or not Dragona is canonically transgender, that's not something we can decide unless Araki outright confirms it or if it's mentioned later on in the story. If Dragona is only wearing feminine clothing and taking female hormones as a means of expressing themselves (as implied) rather than because they identify as a different gender than what they were assigned at birth, then it would be highly insensitive and inaccurate to label them as trans."

I'm questioning if the Heart Is an Awesome Power examples for Jodio, Dragona, and Paco are valid. The trope's definition is a weak-sounding ability being unexpectedly powerful in practice. So far, Smooth Operators and The Hustle have been used in ways that you'd expect them to be used, with no unexpected or particularly impressive showings for them so far. November Rain, meanwhile, is shown nearly killing someone in its very first appearance, which means it's far from being presented as weak.
