Not really. Even when characters call Hokuto Shinken a "terrible martial art," they're never shown to consider him worse than the bandits.
He does catch a bit of Hero with Bad Publicity thanks to Jagi impersonating him, and I've added that to the article.

Are there people out there who don’t regard Kenshiro as a savior but instead see him as being worse than the bandits who attack them?
