Wait, EX takes place in its own universe? I read it was in the same timeline as the Koshien, but I could be mistaken...
As for the tropes... well, I'm not really sure how this usually goes with similar series and circumstances (As I don't usually mess with series pages. Vanguard's basically the exception because I'm really fond of the series), but I don't see why we shouldn't have them here?
As for the fact that the game is only Japanese and the story hasn't been fully translated... I would say we could sit on it for a while, and wait for more info to be gathered/translated.
After rewatching the stream where they held a Q&A session about EX, it looks like I was wrong and that EX does take place in the same universe as the new anime. Could have sworn seeing someone mention that it took place in an alternate universe (but one where the events of the reboot had still happened) but it looks like I've misremembered.
Yeah, might be best to wait for a while. I already started listing tropes I recognized but while I have quite a few for the Otonashi twins, I don't have as many for the other characters exclusive to the game.
On the other hand, there are some characters which play different decks in the agme than they do in the anime (Nagisa) as well as ones who previously haven't played Vanguard in this continuity (Emi, MC Miya) so adding that information should be okay.

I removed this because I feel like it isn't accurate. Kai's not entirey unknown, and in reality has a reputation that was noted by Koutei (Who is a lot more forgetful in this version of the series and he's one of the best cardfighters around) of all people.
- Almighty Janitor: Kai is a relatively unknown fighter in the grand scheme of things, but his skill is enough to allow him to defeat Kenji Mitsusada, the 3rd best cardfighter in all of Asia. The only reason its implied he's unknown is because he has no interest in national tournaments.
I would argue that Leon's Vocal Dissonance entry wouldn't count as a trope, and would be better suited for the YMMV page.
It feels like it could be up to interpretation, but I might be wrong.
I think it might be jumping the gun to refer to Kamui as an Adaptational Wimp this early on. He hasn't had enough cardfights to truly be able to have this said IMO.
Although he has lost 2 out of his 3 fights.
Meanwhile the points brought up for Aichi's Adaptational Badass still stand IMO. It shows the reasons why Aichi's stronger in this series while also being a valuable point.

Since Vanguard EX is based on the reboot (although, according to one of the weekly stream, EX takes place in its own universe), should tropes from this game be added to this page since it's a "related media" ?
On one hand, the game is only in japanese and the story hasn't been fully translated yet but on the other, there are videos of people playing the story mode plus information that has been translated, so it could be added.
