Should we add Ramsay Bolton from Game of Thrones TV series as an entry for Big Bad Wannabe? Although Ramsay Bolton is a terrifying antagonist and good at psychological torture, many of Ramsay's Stupid Evil tendencies have come to haunt him. Although he did manage to orchestrate the demise of Stannis' army by catching them off-guard by destroying their provisions under cover and Zerg Rushing Stannis' remaining forces, Roose Bolton bluntly told him that the inevitable Lannister, which Roose Bolton believed was inevitable as a result of Ramsay's marriage to Sansa Stark (In Ramsay's defense, this was Roose Bolton's idea, but Ramsay did not argue against it) would not be defeated as easily. After killing his father Roose, Ramsay declares himself as Warden of the North, and although Ramsay is indeed the most powerful noble in that region for a brief period of time, his control over the region is very tenous. Despite proclaiming himself as Warden of the North, and being the de facto ruler of the region, their is not a single claimant to the Iron Thrones who acknowledges Ramsay's claim. Even the Lannisters, who granted House Bolton governance over the North after the Red Wedding, immidiately revoked that governance after hearing about Ramsay's marriage to Sansa Stark, with Cersei herself ordering Ramsay to be flayed alive. Although most of the Houses in the region don't overtly try to fight against Ramsay out of fear, most of them don't fight for him either. In fact, the only major Houses in the North who are overtly on Ramsay's side are House Karstark and House Umber, although Ramsay belives that the combined military might of Houses Bolton, Umber, and Karstark will be enough to keep the other Northern houses in line. However, House Umber's new lord, Smalljon, despite agreeing to fight on Ramsay's side against their common enemy of the Free Folk, who Smalljon is prejudiced against, refuses to swear outright loyalty to Ramsay, and even openly insults the Ramsay in his own castle and gets away with it, despite Ramsay's reputation of flaying people who did so in the past. Additionally, altough Ramsay comes closes to annihilating Jon Snow's forces during the Battle of the Bastards, Ramsay's We Have Reserves tactics, namely firing arrows on his own men and enemies indiscriminately, result in the unnecessary deaths of many of Ramsay's forces, despite Ramsay having a great numerical advantage over Jon's army. Ramsay is also blindsided by his supposed allyLittlefinger betraying him by sending the Knights of the Vale to destroy Ramsay's army, with the Knights of the Vale Curb-Stomping Ramsay's forces
