Is this a plot hole? In Gaurdian it is stated Vector Prime takes the Autobots back to when they first traveled to Gigatian (implied to be a week or so earlier). But why? The dimensional gate closed in the last episode, which occoured earlier that day, so why travel back weeks, straining him to the point of metaphysical death, when he could have traveled back maybe 5 hours and got survived the trip.
Furthermore the rest of the plot doesn't seem to reflect the time shift, with Galvatron quickly arriving back in the universe. It seems logic took a back step just to kill off Vector Prime.
