I believe the statement tthat this is the first music video to air on Toonami is erroneous. Toonami once ran a block of animated music videos, most prominently featuring Daft Punk's Interstella 5555 and those of the Gorillaz in 2000 or so.

Rin's tablet says "no messages in 2578 days" which means she got no messages in 7 years.

However, her father's notes when he is designing the machine (at 3:57) clearly say that Rin is 7 years old. And the official description says that Rin is 17 years old.

So, if she has been stuck inside of the machine for ten years, how did she get a message 7 years ago?
