this is a hot button issue, and not completely true across the board, so that's why I'm putting it here instead of on the main page, but another reason that this fantasy could appeal to women is the idea that they could have a choice about that. In cultures where arranged marriages are the norm this idea could be very alluring, and even in western society there is sometimes this attitude that getting someone pregnant is something a man does to a woman, and shes the passive recipient, so taking control of the situation can be empowering
